After 4 years of design and refinement, thousands of operational tests conducted by masters around the world, hundreds of colour tests and endless quality checks... the long-awaited InLei® Forma eyelash shields are here!
InLei® Forma contains two types of shields in every little box.
You read that right, each of InLei® Forma's precious silver boxes contains four pairs of shields, made in two variations:
2 pairs with a glossy outer finish
&
2 pairs with a matte outer finish
Some have found a preference for working with one type over the other, while others are comfortable with both without noticing any particular difference. This is all really up to the individual.

TEARDROP CURVATURE
InLei® Forma was born from the study of the latest industry trends. Its teardrop shape gives it a harmonious and balanced curvature that provides a different effect depending on the eye on which it is used.

The Crescent Shape allows each eye type to be perfectly accommodated, permitting the lash stylist to work with ease in any situation.
InLei® Notch Shape
NOTCHES
The main difficulty of many lash techs lies in laying the lashes perfectly perpendicular to the base. If there are mistakes made in this step, you have to compromise the final result by risking getting crooked or crossed lashes. To avoid this problem, on the upper edge of InLei® Forma we have inserted raised notches that help to adjust the correct direction of spreading.

To achieve the most symmetrical and harmonious effect possible, we differentiated the right and left curlers. The right one can be recognized by a small line above the word "Forma."
Towards the inside, the curvature is flatter, tending to the line of a classic InLei® natural curl shield. Towards the outside, the curvature is more convex, tending towards the dolly curl shield. If needed, they can be reversed left and right depending on the eye shape of the client!

ADHERENCE
The surface that contacts the skin is glossy, so adherence is guaranteed. In some cases it can even work without gluing the shield to the eyelid.

What's so special about it?
The structure of the InLei® Forma shield has a surface without the "petal" (crease), meaning it is completely smooth at the front. This allows it to be used for any length of eyelashes. Its uniqueness lies precisely in this detail - depending on the length of the lashes, it allows you to achieve a different effect!
Its easy compliance ensures maximum ease of use even for beginners.
In terms of materials, it is made entirely in Italy with 100% platinum silicone, and is sanitizable with InLei® F Plus!
When is it recommended to use this type of shield?
InLei® Forma is a universal shield, suitable for all eye and hair types.
It is also recommended to use it in cases that are difficult to treat with classic shields. It is perfect for correcting the direction of lashes and is very useful when you are faced with burnt or very ruffled lashes. It allows you to fully spread the lashes and work on the entire length.
There are many possible patterns of spreading InLei® Form 1 eyelash perm on this shield, and many cases where we recommend Forma over other shields. We call it universal because in 99% of cases it works excellently and the 1% is a particular type of eye on which it is not recommended. However, by taking proper precautions it is great even then!
3 interesting facts about the creation of InLei® Forma:
The very first version of the shield was called InLei® Aurea: it was created based on the golden ratio, but this shield was only suitable for very particular types of eyes. The goal was to create a universal shield, so this version was discarded. Who knows...maybe it will come to life at some point!
After many corrections in the digital design, three different moulds were created before arriving at the final version.
We found that the colour pigments greatly affected the softness (and thus the comfort) of the shield. The trials made in solid green were very stiff, as we decreased the amount of green we returned to the elasticity typical of platinum silicone. That's why in the end we opted for a semi-transparent colour, very comfortable but still impactful!

You may be wondering: "What about all those brightly coloured shields I see online?” They are not pure platinum silicone but rather mixtures or blends! We have opted to preserve the exceptional quality that distinguishes us by selecting only the finest, most comfortable, and safest materials. Experienced techs see the difference immediately!
