Unsuccessful Lash Lift

The responsibility for an unsuccessful lift cannot be solely attributed to ineffective solutions, as it is likely that the technician's error is a contributing factor. Please read over the following top recommendations. If you have tried all of the suggested methods and are still having problems, please do not hesitate to contact us.

How did you prepare the lashes?

The preparation of lashes plays a significant role in the readiness of lashes for a chemical treatment. The optimal pH level is imperative for the effective functioning of solutions intended for use on lashes. It is not recommended to utilize an alcohol-based primer for lash preparation due to its high pH level, which can excessively dehydrate the lashes prior to the application.

The initial step involves the removal of all makeup and mascara using the InLei® Foam Wash. Thoroughly cleanse the periorbital region. It is imperative that lashes are thoroughly cleansed to ensure the complete removal of any impurities. The presence of residual makeup or other substances on the lashes may create an obstacle that the solutions must overcome in order to reach the natural lash, leading to an uneven lift.

Subsequently, the second phase involves the utilization of distilled water to rinse off the foam wash, thereby guaranteeing the complete elimination of all bubbles. Prior to the application of under-eye pads, it is recommended to thoroughly dry the lashes using a fan.

The third step involves purifying the lashes using InLei® Saline pretreatment. This step ensures that each strand of hair is clear of any dust, makeup residue, or excess oil, thereby facilitating a meticulous and hygienic application of the product.

What did you use for glue?

The InLei® professional product line is designed to operate in a cohesive manner. This also holds true for the adhesive. Both the Fixing Gel and Lamica Gel are water-soluble and designed to facilitate the penetration of Form 1 and Fix 2 into the natural lash, provided that excessive amounts are not used, within the specified time frames for Form 1.

This situation may pose a significant challenge for individuals utilizing an alternative type of adhesive. The InLei® products may not penetrate the lash within the designated time if other brands have a denser texture that prevents seepage through the adhesive. The inability of form 1 to break down the disulphide bonds leads to a lack of lifting effect.

How much Glue | Gel did you use?

While it is desirable for the lashes to remain in their intended position, excessive application of InLei® Fixing Gel during the process of affixing the lashes to the shields may impede the penetration of the product into the lashes, thereby hindering its efficacy in enhancing the internal structure of the hairs. Consequently, upon removing the lashes from the shields, the treatment will have minimal impact on them.

What shield did you use and what size?

When selecting an appropriate size for the silicone shield, it is important to consider both the length of the client's natural lashes and their eye shape. Various ranges of silicone shields, such as InLei Only and Only 1, can be utilized to achieve the desired final effect. In order to guarantee appropriate sizing, it is recommended that the lash extensions cover approximately 70 to 80 percent of the surface area of the silicone shield. In the event that the natural lashes provide a coverage of less than 70/80% of the shield, it is advisable to opt for a smaller size. In the event that the lashes provide insufficient coverage, it is advisable to opt for a larger size. By following this method, it can be ensured that all lashes are accurately placed on the shield, thereby avoiding any irregularities or deformities in the lashes. Where did you place your solutions?

To achieve optimal results in lash lift, it is imperative to consider the strategic placement of the product. Insufficient or uneven application of the product may lead to unsatisfactory outcomes. Do not hesitate to apply an excess amount of product as eyelashes have the ability to absorb only the necessary amount. It is imperative to prioritize the accuracy and meticulousness of your application technique and guarantee uniform coverage of all eyelashes. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to apply the lash product in close proximity to the roots, while maintaining a distance of approximately 1-2mm. It is advised to avoid direct application on the roots. Furthermore, it is recommended to limit the coverage to a maximum of ¾ of the lash length. It is important to note that application of the product on the tips should be avoided, as it may result in damage and negatively impact the final outcome of the treatment.
